Dear Mrs Erdal,

Please accept my enclosed resume for the Account Manager position as listed on Net-Temps. I've been following Acme Products in the news for some time and am excited this opportunity has presented itself.

In my previous position at Atılım Group, I continually proved myself to be a superior account manager with the ability to work with customers for their overall satisfaction as well as developing smaller accounts into larger ones. This involved great negotiation and communication between Internet Store and the customer.

This experience as well as my organization and communication skills makes me the perfect candidate for this position.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I will be glad if I had in an opportunity to speak further. I will contact your office within the next week to set up an appointment.

Sincerely,

Meltem Özalp

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Project Assistant position in the “Establishment of the New Turkish Probation Service” project. I believe that my outgoing personality, work experience, and my recently completed education make me a strong candidate for this position.

I graduated from Department of International Relations, the Atılım University in Ankara in 2002. While studying for my bachelor’s degree, I worked as an intern in TRT Morning News in order to improve my translation skills. Then I was employed as an executive assistant by a small veterinary equipment firm, called GAND. I improved my communication and research skills considerably while working at GAND’s. Following my graduation, I attended the Euro-Mediterranean Master’s Programme in Public Policy and International Business, which is offered by the University of Bologna. As part of the requirements for this degree, I completed courses “statistics, management, research methods”. Since I was a scholar of the EU, I have also studied European Union’s management, policy making and European law. Having completed my masters in Italy, I had practiced what I had learned in theory, and completed my internship in an international publishing group. Working for an international publishing group improved my writing skills in reporting, as well as official communication with governments, associations and companies. Also, I found a unique environment in which to improve my language skills; besides English, I am now proficient in spoken and written Italian and have been studying French for the last seven months. At present, I am working in an English based consultancy company.

Furthermore, I have been working voluntarily for the Rotaract Club for the last four years. Now I am the Secretary General of Ankara Rotaract Club. The Club formulates, manages and evaluates projects on social, educational and environmental issues. I was the project leader of our last organization: ‘Fashion and Art Hand in Hand for Children’, which we won ‘Best Public Relationship Award of 2004’ within the all Rotaract Club’s. Working within emotionally and physically challenged conditions enriches my organization, communication and administrative skills considerably.

I am dynamic, talkative, easygoing and cheerful. I have a strong academic background in international relations and international business; I have studied EU policies and administration. In addition, I have experience on EU projects, I think that I could apply my combination of knowledge and experience as a project assistant.

I would like to thank you for your precious time and consideration. Please find attached CV for your interest. If you need any clarification or further information, please do not hesitate to contact me by e-mail or phone at (+90.312……..).

Sincerely Yours,

Cansu Çiğdem Aydın
